Delbert Monroe Ediger

June 21, 1929 — July 5, 2020

Delbert M. Ediger, 91, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Pleasant View Home, Inman.  He was born June 21, 1929 on the farm in McPherson County, the son of Peter H. and Katie Martens Ediger.  He was a graduate of Inman High School and had been a dairy farmer most of his life.  He was a member of Hoffnungsau Church, where he was a deacon, a trustee, and taught adult Sunday School.  He was baptized on March 20, 1945. 

Delbert was a member of the Inman School board, enjoyed woodworking, and loved taking bus tours with his wife Lillian.

He married Lillian Neufeld on September 29, 1950 at Hoffnungsau Church.  She survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Stan (Jenise) Ediger, Inman; a daughter, Beverly (Wayne) Harder, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and a sister in law, LaVerna Ediger, Inman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 10 sibilings.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Friday, July 10, 2020 at Inman Funeral Home, with the family present. Graveside services will be held at 9:30 am, Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Hoffnungsau Mennonite Cemetery, Inman.  Memorial services will follow at 10:30 at Bethel Mennonite Church, Inman.  The funeral service will be live streamed on the Inman Funeral Home Facebook Page.
