Mary "Shellie" Michelle Morgan-Wilson

Mary Michelle “Shellie” McNaul Morgan-Wilson died August 6, 2023, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.  She was born September 2, 1948, in Hutchinson, the daughter of James and Mary Ann (Revel) McNaul.

She graduated from Trinity High School in Hutchinson in 1966. She got her nursing degree from Mercy School of Nursing in Fort Scott, Kansas.  She worked in various hospitals and clinics all over the world and she worked as a case manager later in her career.

On March 29, 1969, she married Leon W. Morgan in Hutchinson.  To this union was born her daughter Beth Ann and son Marc Leon.  They later divorced.  On May 17, 1986, she married Robert V. Wilson in Hutchinson.  He preceded her in death on November 12, 1999.

She is survived by her family; daughter Beth (Craig) Wolf, and  son Marc (Amy) Morgan, all of Hutchinson; bonus children; Todd (Cindy) Wilson, Tonya Wilson, and Teresa Wilson; grandchildren, MariBeth (Dustin) Jackson, Windom, Olivia Morgan and Trevor Morgan, both of Hutchinson; bonus grandchildren, Jordan Wilson, Katelyn Wilson, and Audrey Wilson; great grandchildren, Maddilynn Wolf, Colton Wolf, and Cayson Jackson; brothers Michael (Tracy) McNaul, Hutchinson and Phillip (Connie) McNaul, Shell Knob, MO; and numerous nieces nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Shellie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert.

Shellie lit up the room and had a knack for making things better.  She was our sunshine and will be greatly missed.  The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff for their care of her.

Visitation will be held from 5-7PM Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Inman Funeral Home, Inman.  Parish Rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM Thursday, August 10, 2023, at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, Hutchinson, with a mass of Christian burial to follow at 10:00 AM.  The service will be live streamed on the Inman Funeral Home Facebook Page.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family, to be designated at a later date.  To leave a condolence for the family, visit:  www.inmahfh.com.
