Robert Eugene Grubb

December 20, 1940 — April 18, 2024

Wichita

Robert “Bob” Eugene Grubb, 83, passed away April 18, 2024, at Pleasant View Home, Inman.

He was born December 20, 1940, in Ellsworth, Kansas, the son of Richard and Thelma Rush

Grubb. He was a graduate of Harper High School, Harper, KS. A resident of Wichita, he was a

retired US Air Force SGT., having served 20 years. He was also an active member of the

Midian Shriner’s, VFW, and the American Legion. Bob loved outdoor activities such as hunting,

fishing, and shooting. He enjoyed travelling and visiting with family. He was loved and will be

greatly missed by his family and friends.


While residing in Germany for the Air Force, Bob met and married Annemarie Schumann. After

moving back to Wichita, Annemarie passed away on Dec. 31, 1992.

Survivors include his children: Sandra Grubb, Oklahoma City OK, Richard (Lori) Grubb, Mobile,

AL, and Daniel (Susan) Grubb, Shoreline, Washington; 2 brothers, Harold Grubb, Baltimore, MD

and Larry Grubb, Wichita; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 4 great great

grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.


Per his wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM,  Saturday, July 20th. 2024, at Inman Funeral Home.  Services will be live-streamed on the Inman Funeral Home Facebook Page.  To leave a condolence for the family, visit:  www.inmanfh.com.
