Twila J. Lenstrom

Twila Janice Lenstrom, 95, passed away September 9, 2024, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born January 30, 1929, in Broken Bow, Nebraska, the daughter of William and Gladys Carnine Reckling. She was a graduate of Comstock High School and had received her teacher’s certificate from Kearney State College. She had attended Grace Bible Church, Hutchinson and was a member of Wescott Baptist Church, Comstock. She married Gayle Lenstrom on May 22, 1949, in Comstock, Nebraska. He passed away on July 28, 2017.

Survivors include her children, Janet (Ron) Regehr, Inman, Janell (Dan) Thompson, Hutchinson, and Janene (David) Thiessen, Inman; daughter in law, Kathy Lenstrom, Sidney, NE; 11 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ron Lenstrom; 2 brothers; and a sister.

Private family burial will take place prior to funeral services. Memorial services will be held at noon Friday, September 13, 2024, at Wescott Baptist Church, Comstock, NE.
